The Challenge
Prior to partnering with Big Storm, Mintwood Home invested in digital advertising that struggled to make meaningful returns. Our Strategy
To build a strategy worthy of Mintwood Home’s brand, we first tackled transparency and alignment. We created a clear advertising playbook that outlined keywords, headlines, imagery, audience segmentation, and messaging. We always shared this playbook with Mintwood’s team so they knew exactly how each campaign represented their brand.
We began with Google Ads and used historical data to identify which products, categories, and messages were most profitable. With those insights, we refined our targeting, narrowed our product focus, and built campaigns around what truly resonated with their audience.
Once performance strengthened through Google Ads, we expanded our approach to Facebook and Pinterest—key platforms for high-consideration home décor shoppers. This multichannel ad strategy allowed Mintwood Home to reach customers at several stages of their buying journey, adding more touchpoints along a longer sales cycle.
As part of our partnership, we also provided ongoing recommendations outside of ads, including email strategy, product feed optimization, and ways to enhance consistency in voice and visuals across the brand. Mintwood Home’s willingness to collaborate, adapt, and experiment helped fuel the momentum of the entire strategy.
